GlovesOff Productions

GlovesOff Productions was formed in 2003 by Michael Elphick and Patricia Hartshorne. The Manchester-based two-man company toured widely – to California and Dublin, and throughout the UK, including two tours in Northern Ireland and three full runs at the Edinburgh Fringe. Since the death of Michael Elphick, performances from GlovesOff have been suspended, but will resume in February 2011.
Patricia Hartshorne has been writing and performing one-woman shows, cabaret and after-dinner entertainment for the last fifteen years, and in 2000 won the Comedy Award at the Buxton Fringe for 'OFF HER TROLLEY'. Working with Michael Elphick, she went on to co-write and perform new material for stand-up, cabaret and after-dinner venues, and for five full-length one-woman theatre shows – 'LATE-NIGHT CABARET', 'A BIT IN THE AFTERNOON', 'ME AND MARLENE', 'ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE', and 'ABSOLUTE PANTS'.
'ME AND MARLENE' returns to the stage in May 2011, Patricia Hartshorne reprising her much-acclaimed performance as Marlene Dietrich. As cabaret, 'A BIT IN THE AFTERNOON' and 'ABSOLUTE PANTS' will also return to the repertoire, as will after-dinner entertainment, and other new material.
